An official meeting was convened between the officials of Kerala State Biodiversity Board (Dr. N. Anil Kumar, Chairman, Dr. V. Balakrishnan, Member Secretary, Dr. C.S Vimal Kumar, Principal Scientific Officer, Smt. Mithrambika N B, Research Officer) and NABARD (Baiju N. Kurup , Chief General Manager, H. Manoj, General Manager, James P George, Deputy General Manager, Minu Anwar, Asst. General Manager, Vasudev N., Assistant Manager).  During the meeting, discussions centered on the potential convergence between KSBB and NABARD, especially regarding the implementation of projects that utilize climate adaptation and mitigation funds. Explored various initiatives in agroforestry and agrobiodiversity designed to strengthen support for custodian farmers in Kerala. The conversation also included coastal vulnerability assessment projects, spring shed projects, and awareness programs focusing on climate change and biodiversity conservation, aimed at diverse target groups, including politicians.
